Free home PBX with desk phones
QuikPBX Free gives you a real LAN phone system for home and hobby: up to 5 extensions, one On-site PBX site, web phone, basic routing, and voicemail. Desk phones and the desktop softphone register on your network; bring your own SignalWire only if you want hosted numbers and PSTN.
Who Free is for
Home labs, hobbyists, and micro offices that want a real SIP PBX without paying QuikPBX. You get up to five extensions and one On-site PBX site — enough for a household or small shop floor.
What you set up
Create a free account, then:
- Add people and extensions in the portal
- Adopt an On-site PBX site (LAN SIP)
- Provision desk phones or install QuikPBX Phone
- Optionally connect SignalWire for a public DID and cloud web phone
When to upgrade
Stay on Free until you need call recording, contact-center queues, AI receptionist, or more than five seats / one site / one DID. Paid upgrades are self-serve under Settings → Billing.
